Itinerary

From day to night, your itinerary’s packed with unforgettable moments. Here’s the lowdown.

Day
7
Koh Phi Phi
Longtail Boats & Lagoon Swims
Wake up, throw on your swimwear and don't forget your camera - today is a big one!  We'll jump aboard a traditional longtail boat and spend the day cruising between hidden lagoons, postcard-perfect beaches and some of the most beautiful spots in Thailand.  We'll stop at Maya Bay, cool off in the emerald waters of Pileh Lagoon and snorkel among colourful marine life before heading to Monkey Beach. Just remember: if a monkey starts taking an interest in your snacks, it's probably already too late!  Back on shore, the adventure continues with one of Phi Phi's famous fire shows. Grab a drink, find a spot in the sand and watch the beach come alive after dark before heading out on a Phi Phi bar crawl with the group. Let's just say the day doesn't get any less memorable after sunset.  Sun, sea, boats and beach bars. What could possibly top that?  _\*Please note: Maya Bay access is subject to government restrictions and may be closed at certain times of the year. _

Railay
Railay State of Mind
If there was ever a place designed to make you forget about the outside world, this is it…  Accessible only by boat, Railay feels like a little bubble hidden away between the cliffs and the sea. It's home to one of the world's top-rated beaches, but somehow still manages to feel like a hidden gem. Safe to say, it doesn't take long to see what all the fuss is about!  You’ll find quirky walking streets, colourful beach bars, hidden pathways and towering limestone cliffs that rise straight out of the sea. Spend the afternoon however you like. Grab an iced coffee, wander through the local shops, watch rock climbers tackle the towering limestone cliffs or find a beach bar and settle in for the afternoon. The best thing about Railay is that there isn't really a wrong way to spend your time here.  As the sun starts to set, head down to the beach and watch the sky

Krabi
Slow Mornings & Sea Views
The good news? You're not leaving Railay just yet.  Spend the morning making the most of this little slice of paradise. Grab a coconut, take a dip in the sea, find your favourite coffee spot from yesterday or simply wander and see where the day takes you. After all, you've already mastered the art of losing track of time here.  You might even spot a few monkeys hanging around the beach. They're usually more interested in people-watching than sightseeing. Later, we'll hop aboard a boat and head to Krabi, ready for the next chapter of the adventure.

Krabi
Wild Side of Thailand
Just when you think you've seen every side of Thailand, Krabi will prove you wrong!  This morning, we'll head to Ao Thalane, one of the most beautiful mangrove forests in Thailand, for a kayaking adventure through winding waterways, dramatic limestone canyons and lush jungle scenery. It's a world away from the beach bars and island hopping of the past few days.  As we paddle through narrow channels carved between towering cliffs, keep your eyes peeled for kingfishers, little herons and even crab-eating macaques hiding among the trees.  By the end of the morning, you'll have explored one of Thailand's most beautiful natural landscapes and probably discovered a few muscles you didn't know you had!

One Last Sunset
We're not sure how it happened either, but somehow it's already the final full day. Today, we'll make our way back to Phuket, giving you one last chance to soak up the sunshine before it's time to head home. Spend the afternoon however you like - hit the beach, grab a massage, pick up those last-minute souvenirs or finally have one more 7-Eleven toastie (you know you want to).  This evening, we'll come together for a farewell dinner and one last night with the group. Between the inside jokes, questionable camera roll content and stories that somehow get better every time they're told, there's plenty to look back on.  One last sunset, one last dinner and probably one last debate about which day was the best!

Until Next Time…
Well, this is where our Thailand adventure comes to an end.  After 12 days of temples, tuk-tuks, island hopping, elephant encounters, sunset viewpoints and more Pad Thai than we'd care to admit, it's time to say goodbye and head home.  Our trip finishes in Phuket, giving you time to exchange Instagrams, share the photos you promised to send and squeeze in one final group selfie before making your way to the airport.  Thailand might be over, but let's be honest - you're probably already thinking about where to go next.

Weather

If you're chasing sunshine, you're in the right place! November to February is Thailand's peak season and generally the coolest and driest time to visit, with blue skies, sunny days and temperatures of around 25-30°C. It's perfect for island hopping, beach days and exploring without getting too hot. March to May is when things really heat up, with temperatures often reaching 30-35°C. Expect plenty of sunshine, warm evenings and lots of opportunities to cool off in the sea, a swimming pool or with a fresh coconut in hand. June to October brings the rainy season, but don't let that put you off. Showers are usually short and sharp rather than all-day downpours, and they often clear just as quickly as they arrive. You'll also find fewer crowds, lush green landscapes and some pretty spectacular sunsets. Pack light, bring your sunglasses and prepare to spend a lot of time wondering why you don't live somewhere this warm.

Getting There

Starts

Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) Touch down in Bangkok, grab your bags and get ready - your Thailand adventure is about to begin. We recommend arriving between 9am and 5pm on Day 1, where your local guide will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign ready to welcome you to Thailand. Arriving during this window means you'll be able to take advantage of the included airport pickup, settle into the hotel, meet the group and join the welcome orientation before the evening activities begin. Arriving outside of the pickup window? No problem. You'll just need to make your own way to the hotel, and your local guide will be happy to point you in the right direction in the group chat. If you're planning to arrive a day early, just let us know. You're welcome to book your own accommodation near the airport and return the following day to join the group pickup.

Ends

All good things must come to an end, and your adventure will finish in Phuket. We recommend departing from Phuket International Airport (HKT). When booking your flights, you can either fly into Bangkok and home from Phuket, or book a return flight from Bangkok and add a short domestic flight back at the end of the trip. Internal flights in Thailand are often surprisingly affordable, so it's worth comparing both options before you book. One thing to keep in mind: Bangkok has two airports, so be sure to double-check you're flying from the right one if booking an internal connection. We recommend booking a departure flight after midday on the final day. After one last night out on Bangla Road with your new travel family, you'll probably appreciate a slightly slower start to the morning! Don't forget to allow 2-3 hours for airport check-in before your flight.

FAQ's
Solo? Couple? Friends?
Most of our travellers are solo, so joining a group tour is a great way to meet like-minded people and make new friends along the way. Travelling alone gives you flexibility, the chance to connect with others, and the freedom to follow your own adventure. If you’re coming with a friend or partner, just let us know when you book. We’ll make sure you’re paired together in the same room so you can enjoy the trip side by side.
Accommodation
On your trip, you’ll stay in comfortable twin-share hotel rooms, paired with another traveller from your tour. Forget hostels, our hand-picked hotels offer privacy, comfort, and a touch of luxury, with air conditioning or fans, reliable WiFi, and many featuring pools, gyms, or chill-out spaces. It’s the perfect base to relax after a day of exploring, making new friends, and living your adventure to the fullest.
Free Time
While our programmes are full of unforgettable experiences, there’s still plenty of time built in to relax, explore, or do your own thing. Whether you want to lounge on a beach, wander through local markets, try out a new cafe, or just take a quiet afternoon for yourself, the choice is yours. Your guides are always happy to share insider tips and recommend hidden gems, so you can make the most of every free moment. Free time is your chance to explore at your own pace, discover local culture, and create memories that are completely your own.
Pre and Post Tour
If you’re arriving early or staying on after your programme, we can help make the most of your extra time. Extra nights of accommodation before the tour starts can be booked easily through us, just get in touch with our team. Planning to continue your adventure once your trip ends? Our travel experts can offer advice on the best destinations, routes, and experiences to extend your journey, so you can explore confidently and make the most of your time abroad.
Arrival & Transfers
We provide an airport transfer on the day your trip begins. To make things easy, aim to arrive between 9am and 5pm on the start date. Once you’ve booked your flights, be sure to share your arrival details in the Manage My Booking area so we can coordinate your pick-up. If you’re arriving outside these times, don’t worry, we can help you arrange a private transfer at your own cost. Our team will give you all the details you need to meet your driver and get to your accommodation safely and smoothly. All in-country transport throughout your trip is included, so you can relax and enjoy the journey. We handle transfers between hotels, activity locations, and any pre-arranged excursions, using buses, trains, and boats where needed. Each tour page lists the correct airport to fly into and out of, so you’ll know exactly where to arrive and depart. If you're still unsure, just chat to the team!
Luggage & Packing
Pack light, pack smart, and be ready for anything. Bring versatile clothing for warm days, cooler evenings, and temple visits. A sturdy backpack or suitcase works fine, and you’ll have opportunities to do laundry along the way. Don’t forget essentials like chargers, travel documents, and a good pair of walking shoes for exploring
Flights
Flights are not included in the trip price and will need to be booked separately. We recommend securing your place on the trip before booking flights, as availability and dates can sometimes change and flight prices can fluctuate. Once your place is confirmed, our team is happy to help with advice on the best airports to fly into, typical routes, and timings to ensure your arrival runs smoothly.
Visa & Vaccinations
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality and the country you are visiting. Some destinations allow certain nationals to enter visa-free for a limited period, while others may require a visa on arrival or in advance. It is your responsibility to check the latest visa and entry requirements before travelling. You can do this via the relevant embassy or consulate website, or reach out to our team for guidance. We also recommend checking with your GP or a travel health clinic for advice on vaccinations and other health precautions for the country you are visiting. Make sure to arrange any required vaccinations well in advance to ensure a smooth start to your trip.
Wildlife & Elephants
Thailand is full of incredible wildlife, but what you see will depend on the regions you visit and the activities on your tour. Expect to encounter elephants, monkeys, tropical birds, and a variety of other native species in national parks, sanctuaries, and rural areas. On certain tours, you may also meet rescued animals such as dogs or have the chance to observe marine life while island hopping. We only work with ethical elephant sanctuaries and trusted animal projects, and our team on the ground continually reviews standards to ensure the highest welfare for the animals. While sightings can’t be guaranteed, every tour includes opportunities to connect with Thailand’s unique flora and fauna in sustainable and responsible ways.
Money
The local currency in Thailand is the Thai Baht (THB). ATMs are widely available in cities, and cards are accepted in most places, though it’s useful to have some cash for markets and smaller towns. Most of your activities, accommodation, and some meals are included in the trip price. You will mainly need money for extra meals, drinks, souvenirs, optional activities, and any onward travel. We recommend bringing a travel card or using a card with low foreign exchange fees for convenience and security.
Food
Incredible, expect a mix of authentic local dishes and Western comfort food. Must-tries include: Pad Thai – stir-fried noodles with tamarind, lime & peanuts Green Curry – creamy coconut curry with a spicy kick Mango Sticky Rice – sweet and irresistible Expect a delicious mix of authentic local dishes and Western comfort food throughout your trip. Some meals are included in the price, and you can check the day-by-day itinerary to see exactly what’s provided. Must-tries include Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice. Don’t worry if you’re not a fan of spicy food, there are always milder options and plenty of vegetarian-friendly choices.
Best Time to Visit
Thailand is a year-round destination, with warm temperatures and sunshine to enjoy whenever you visit. The rainy season runs from June to September, but showers are usually short and refreshing, often giving way to beautiful sunshine. The dry season, from October to May, tends to be a little cooler and less humid, perfect for exploring. Whatever time of year you choose, our trips are designed to make the most of the weather so you can enjoy all the adventure, culture, and fun Thailand has to offer.
Nightlife
Thailand is famous for its nightlife, and there’s something for everyone. From rooftop bars and beach parties to group bar crawls and live music events, you can dance until sunrise or chill with a coconut by the sea. Not a big drinker? No problem. There’s absolutely no pressure to drink on our trips, and plenty of people choose to stay sober or take nights off. Whether you’re there for the music, the atmosphere, or just good company, you’ll always feel comfortable doing things your own way. Your guides will point you to the safest and most social spots, so you can enjoy the night worry-free.
Group Leaders
Who are the group leaders? Your group leader is your go-to guide, mentor, and ultimate problem-solver while on tour. They know everything from hidden local spots to the best places to eat, and are there to make sure your trip runs smoothly. Think of them as your travel BFF who’s got your back 24/7. How big are the groups? Groups are kept small and social, usually between 12 and 22 travellers, so it’s easy to bond and make friends for life. You’ll meet people from all over the world, all sharing the same love of adventure and discovery. Can I get in touch with my group or leader before the trip? Yes! Around two weeks before your tour, your group leader will be added to your group WhatsApp. You’ll also be able to connect with your fellow travellers in our private destination-specific community so you can start sharing tips, hype, and travel excitement before you even arrive.
