Tour Summary
What if your favourite memory from Thailand wasn't just a beach... but knowing you made a real difference while you were there? Over 20 unforgettable days, you'll island hop through Phuket, Phi Phi and Krabi, snorkel crystal-clear waters, kayak through mangrove forests, meet Thailand’s gentle giants and chase sunsets on some of Thailand's most iconic beaches. But that's only half the story. You'll also teach English in a local school, spend time with rescued dogs, help care for endangered sea turtles and experience a side of Thailand that most travellers never get to see. One minute you're walking into a classroom full of excited smiles, the next you're watching the sun disappear into the Andaman Sea. Somewhere between helping rescue dogs find their forever homes and island hopping around Southern Thailand, you’ll soon realise that this is so much more than a holiday.

Itinerary

From day to night, your itinerary’s packed with unforgettable moments. Here’s the lowdown.

Day
13
Koh Phi Phi
The Best of Both Worlds
After two incredible days exploring Phi Phi, today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Spend the day swimming in the warm turquoise sea, relaxing on the beach, wandering through the island's colourful streets or settling into a beachfront café and watching island life go by. If you're looking to tick off another bucket-list experience, Phi Phi is one of the best places in Thailand to try scuba diving. Whether you're a complete beginner or already certified, your guide will be happy to help arrange a dive for you. Tonight, it's time to experience another side of Phi Phi. We'll head out on a bar crawl, hopping between some of the island's best beach bars before dancing the night away with your travel family. Phi Phi is famous for its nightlife, and after tonight you'll soon see why. _Please note: Optional activities are not included and are at your own expense._

Koh Phi Phi
See You at the Top!
After last night's bar crawl, we're taking things a little slower this morning - you’re welcome! Sleep in, grab a lazy brunch, top up your tan or cool off with a swim in the crystal-clear sea. If you've still got some energy left, you can even hire a paddleboard and explore the bay from a different perspective. This afternoon, grab your trainers - we're going on a hike! (Don't panic, it's only about 45 minutes.) Once we reach the top, you'll soon forget all about the uphill climb. We'll watch the sun set over Phi Phi together, snap plenty of photos and soak up one last evening on the island before we head off on our next adventure.

Krabi
Next Stop: Krabi
Time to wave goodbye to Phi Phi, but don't get too emotional because we've still got one more stop to go! Spend your final morning however you like. Set an early alarm for one last island sunrise, grab a slow brunch overlooking the sea or squeeze in one final swim before we hop on the ferry to Krabi. After checking into your gorgeous new hotel, we've got a feeling you'll want to spend a little time there first. One look at the pool and the views across Ao Nang, and you'll see why we love it so much. Once you've settled in, head out to explore Ao Nang. Wander around the buzzing night market, where you'll find everything from sizzling Thai street food to fresh fruit smoothies, coconut ice cream and some seriously good local desserts. If markets aren't your thing, grab a beachfront table instead, order your favourite cocktail and watch the longtail boats drift by as the sun goes down. Krabi has a completely different vibe to Phi Phi, and we reckon you're going to love it.

Paddle Through Paradise
This morning, we're swapping the beaches for something a little different... Hop into your kayak and paddle through one of Thailand's most beautiful mangrove forests, weaving between limestone cliffs and peaceful waterways that feel like something straight out of a film. Keep your eyes peeled because you never know what might pop up next. Kingfishers, little herons and even monkeys all call these mangroves home, so there's always something to spot as you paddle along. After all that kayaking, we'll head to a nearby local restaurant for a proper Thai feast. Consider this your reward for all that paddling!

Your Krabi Adventure
Today's all yours, so make the most of it! If you've still got the energy for another adventure, hike up to the famous Tiger Cave Temple, where 1,260 steps lead to one of the best views in Krabi. Looking for something a little more relaxing? Treat yourself to a traditional Thai massage, claim a sunbed by the hotel's infinity pool or head back to Ao Nang Beach with an iced coffee in hand and watch the longtail boats come and go. If you're keen to explore a little further, ask your guide about visiting the Emerald Pool and natural hot springs, or head over to one of Krabi's beachfront bars for a lazy afternoon with a cocktail and a sea view. However you choose to spend the day, this is your chance to enjoy Krabi at your own pace. By now you'll probably have a favourite café, beach or sunset spot. Tonight's your excuse to go back one last time. _Please note: Optional activities are not included and are at your own expense._

Just Wait Until You See Railay
If you thought Thailand couldn't get any more beautiful, just wait. This afternoon we'll hop aboard a traditional longtail boat to Railay Beach, a breathtaking peninsula that's only accessible by water. Regularly ranked among the world's best beaches, it's easy to see why. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, hidden caves and bright turquoise water, it's unlike anywhere else you'll visit on this trip. Railay has a completely different feel to anywhere else we've been. Think barefoot travellers, laid-back beach bars, reggae music and a relaxed atmosphere that makes it very easy to lose track of time. Spend a couple of hours exploring, grab a fresh coconut or wander over to the famous Phra Nang Cave. This evening, we recommend heading to Crazy Gringos, a lively beachfront Mexican restaurant that's as much about the atmosphere as it is the food. Expect live entertainment, plenty of laughs and yes, there's a very good chance you'll end up doing the Macarena before the night's over.

Weather

If you're chasing sunshine, you're in the right place! November to February is Thailand's peak season and generally the coolest and driest time to visit, with blue skies, sunny days and temperatures of around 25-30°C. It's perfect for island hopping, beach days and exploring without getting too hot. March to May is when things really heat up, with temperatures often reaching 30-35°C. Expect plenty of sunshine, warm evenings and lots of opportunities to cool off in the sea, a swimming pool or with a fresh coconut in hand. June to October brings the rainy season, but don't let that put you off. Showers are usually short and sharp rather than all-day downpours, and they often clear just as quickly as they arrive. You'll also find fewer crowds, lush green landscapes and some pretty spectacular sunsets. Pack light, bring your sunglasses and prepare to spend a lot of time wondering why you don't live somewhere this warm!

Getting There

Starts

Phuket International Airport (HKT) Touch down in Thailand, grab your bags and get excited... your Total Impact adventure is about to begin! We recommend arriving between 9am and 5pm on Day 1 at Phuket Airport, where your local guide will be waiting in the arrivals hall holding a sign. Arriving during this window means you can take advantage of the included airport pickup, settle into the hotel, meet the rest of the group and join the welcome meeting before the evening activities begin. Arriving outside of the pickup window? No problem! You'll just need to make your own way to the hotel, and your local guide will be happy to point you in the right direction in the group chat. Planning to arrive a day early? Just let us know! You're welcome to book your own accommodation near the airport and either return for the group pickup or meet everyone at the hotel the following day.

Ends

Just like that, 20 incredible days are over. We recommend booking your departure flight from Phuket International Airport (HKT) after midday on the final day. After one last night out on Bangla Road, you'll probably be grateful for a slightly slower morning before heading to the airport. As always, don't forget to allow 2–3 hours to check in before your flight, especially if you're travelling internationally. Safe travels, and we hope this is just the first of many adventures with us!

FAQ's
Solo? Couple? Friends?
Most of our travellers are solo, so joining a group tour is a great way to meet like-minded people and make new friends along the way. Travelling alone gives you flexibility, the chance to connect with others, and the freedom to follow your own adventure. If you’re coming with a friend or partner, just let us know when you book. We’ll make sure you’re paired together in the same room so you can enjoy the trip side by side.
Accommodation
On your trip, you’ll stay in comfortable twin-share hotel rooms, paired with another traveller from your tour. Forget hostels, our hand-picked hotels offer privacy, comfort, and a touch of luxury, with air conditioning or fans, reliable WiFi, and many featuring pools, gyms, or chill-out spaces. It’s the perfect base to relax after a day of exploring, making new friends, and living your adventure to the fullest.
Free Time
While our programmes are full of unforgettable experiences, there’s still plenty of time built in to relax, explore, or do your own thing. Whether you want to lounge on a beach, wander through local markets, try out a new cafe, or just take a quiet afternoon for yourself, the choice is yours. Your guides are always happy to share insider tips and recommend hidden gems, so you can make the most of every free moment. Free time is your chance to explore at your own pace, discover local culture, and create memories that are completely your own.

If you’re arriving early or staying on after your programme, we can help make the most of your extra time. Extra nights of accommodation before the tour starts can be booked easily through us, just get in touch with our team. Planning to continue your adventure once your trip ends? Our travel experts can offer advice on the best destinations, routes, and experiences to extend your journey, so you can explore confidently and make the most of your time abroad.
Arrival & Transfers
We provide an airport transfer on the day your trip begins. To make things easy, aim to arrive between 9am and 5pm on the start date. Once you’ve booked your flights, be sure to share your arrival details in the Manage My Booking area so we can coordinate your pick-up. If you’re arriving outside these times, don’t worry, we can help you arrange a private transfer at your own cost. Our team will give you all the details you need to meet your driver and get to your accommodation safely and smoothly. All in-country transport throughout your trip is included, so you can relax and enjoy the journey. We handle transfers between hotels, activity locations, and any pre-arranged excursions, using buses, trains, and boats where needed. Each tour page lists the correct airport to fly into and out of, so you’ll know exactly where to arrive and depart. If you're still unsure, just chat to the team!
Luggage & Packing
Pack light, pack smart, and be ready for anything. Bring versatile clothing for warm days, cooler evenings, and temple visits. A sturdy backpack or suitcase works fine, and you’ll have opportunities to do laundry along the way. Don’t forget essentials like chargers, travel documents, and a good pair of walking shoes for exploring
Flights
Flights are not included in the trip price and will need to be booked separately. We recommend securing your place on the trip before booking flights, as availability and dates can sometimes change and flight prices can fluctuate. Once your place is confirmed, our team is happy to help with advice on the best airports to fly into, typical routes, and timings to ensure your arrival runs smoothly.
Visa & Vaccinations
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality and the country you are visiting. Some destinations allow certain nationals to enter visa-free for a limited period, while others may require a visa on arrival or in advance. It is your responsibility to check the latest visa and entry requirements before travelling. You can do this via the relevant embassy or consulate website, or reach out to our team for guidance. We also recommend checking with your GP or a travel health clinic for advice on vaccinations and other health precautions for the country you are visiting. Make sure to arrange any required vaccinations well in advance to ensure a smooth start to your trip.
Wildlife & Elephants
Thailand is full of incredible wildlife, but what you see will depend on the regions you visit and the activities on your tour. Expect to encounter elephants, monkeys, tropical birds, and a variety of other native species in national parks, sanctuaries, and rural areas. On certain tours, you may also meet rescued animals such as dogs or have the chance to observe marine life while island hopping. We only work with ethical elephant sanctuaries and trusted animal projects, and our team on the ground continually reviews standards to ensure the highest welfare for the animals. While sightings can’t be guaranteed, every tour includes opportunities to connect with Thailand’s unique flora and fauna in sustainable and responsible ways.
Volunteering
You’ll spend a few days taking part in meaningful volunteer activities which may include teaching English, supporting community initiatives, and/or helping at animal sanctuaries such as turtle, dog, and elephant centres. Every project is designed to create a real, positive impact in local communities while giving you an authentic, hands-on experience of Thai life. These experiences are more than just volunteering, you’ll meet locals, learn about their culture, and gain practical skills that you can carry with you beyond the trip. Whether it’s helping children practice English, caring for rescued animals, or assisting with community programs, you’ll leave knowing you made a genuine difference.
Money
The local currency in Thailand is the Thai Baht (THB). ATMs are widely available in cities, and cards are accepted in most places, though it’s useful to have some cash for markets and smaller towns. Most of your activities, accommodation, and some meals are included in the trip price. You will mainly need money for extra meals, drinks, souvenirs, optional activities, and any onward travel. We recommend bringing a travel card or using a card with low foreign exchange fees for convenience and security.
Food
Incredible, expect a mix of authentic local dishes and Western comfort food. Must-tries include: Pad Thai – stir-fried noodles with tamarind, lime & peanuts Green Curry – creamy coconut curry with a spicy kick Mango Sticky Rice – sweet and irresistible Expect a delicious mix of authentic local dishes and Western comfort food throughout your trip. Some meals are included in the price, and you can check the day-by-day itinerary to see exactly what’s provided. Must-tries include Pad Thai, Green Curry, and Mango Sticky Rice. Don’t worry if you’re not a fan of spicy food, there are always milder options and plenty of vegetarian-friendly choices.
Best Time to Visit
Thailand is a year-round destination, with warm temperatures and sunshine to enjoy whenever you visit. The rainy season runs from June to September, but showers are usually short and refreshing, often giving way to beautiful sunshine. The dry season, from October to May, tends to be a little cooler and less humid, perfect for exploring. Whatever time of year you choose, our trips are designed to make the most of the weather so you can enjoy all the adventure, culture, and fun Thailand has to offer.
Nightlife
Thailand is famous for its nightlife, and there’s something for everyone. From rooftop bars and beach parties to group bar crawls and live music events, you can dance until sunrise or chill with a coconut by the sea. Not a big drinker? No problem. There’s absolutely no pressure to drink on our trips, and plenty of people choose to stay sober or take nights off. Whether you’re there for the music, the atmosphere, or just good company, you’ll always feel comfortable doing things your own way. Your guides will point you to the safest and most social spots, so you can enjoy the night worry-free.
Group Leaders
Who are the group leaders? Your group leader is your go-to guide, mentor, and ultimate problem-solver while on tour. They know everything from hidden local spots to the best places to eat, and are there to make sure your trip runs smoothly. Think of them as your travel BFF who’s got your back 24/7. How big are the groups? Groups are kept small and social, usually between 12 and 22 travellers, so it’s easy to bond and make friends for life. You’ll meet people from all over the world, all sharing the same love of adventure and discovery. Can I get in touch with my group or leader before the trip? Yes! Around two weeks before your tour, your group leader will be added to your group WhatsApp. You’ll also be able to connect with your fellow travellers in our private destination-specific community so you can start sharing tips, hype, and travel excitement before you even arrive.
