Ready for 13 days of island hopping, turquoise waters, beach days and some seriously unforgettable adventures? Starting in Manila and travelling through Palawan to Coron, this trip takes you through some of the Philippines’ most exciting spots, with a new adventure waiting around every corner.
Cruise through Puerto Princesa’s incredible Underground River, snorkel around the islands of Port Barton, camp under the stars and experience El Nido from the water. You’ll explore lagoons and beaches, travel by traditional jeepney, spend time learning about marine conservation and help with a beach clean-up before finishing the adventure amongst the lakes, reefs and islands of Coron.
And it’s not all go, go, go! You’ll have free time to explore at your own pace, evenings to discover each new stop and plenty of time to enjoy island life with your new travel family. Manila
Philippines, Here We Come!
You’ve made it to the Philippines! Your driver will be waiting at Manila Airport to take you to your hotel, where you can drop your bags, freshen up and get ready for your first evening.
Tonight, you’ll meet your guide and new travel buddies over a welcome dinner! Get to know the group, swap travel stories and start getting excited about the next 13 days. You’ve got a whole lot of island hopping, beautiful beaches and adventures ahead of you, and it all starts tonight!

Puerto Princesa
The Island Adventure Begins
Time to swap the city for island life! After breakfast, you’ll head to the airport for your flight to Puerto Princesa, the capital of Palawan and your first stop on one of the Philippines’ most beautiful islands.
Palawan brings a completely different pace of life, with lush green landscapes, tropical beaches and a completely different pace of life. Once you land, your local driver will take you to your hotel, where you can drop your bags and enjoy the rest of the day however you fancy. Head out to explore, find somewhere for your first proper taste of Filipino food or simply relax and settle into island life. The next few days are going to be pretty special!

Puerto Princesa
Into the Underground
Puerto Princesa is home to the famous Underground River, one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, which you’ll be exploring today! After breakfast, you'll head to Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park, home to an 8.2 km underground river that flows straight into the sea.
Hop aboard a boat and venture into the caves, where your guide will take you through the darkness to discover some seriously impressive rock formations. It’s a completely different side of Palawan, and one you definitely wouldn’t want to miss!

Port Barton
Port Barton, Day to Night
Time to pack your bags, we’re off to Port Barton! This little coastal village is known for its laid-back atmosphere, beautiful beaches and some of the best sunsets in Palawan. You’ll even stop along the way to grab some local snacks, because no road trip is complete without a little food!
Once you arrive, drop your bags at your accommodation and head straight for the beach. Spend the afternoon exploring and find yourself a spot to watch the sunset before getting ready for a night out with the group! Port Barton might be a small town, but it’s got a lively nightlife scene, so get ready for a few drinks, some music and a proper first night by the coast!

Port Barton
A Day in Ocean Paradise
Wake up by the beach and get ready for your first full day out on the water! After breakfast, you’ll head out on your private boat to explore Port Barton’s islands and reefs. First stop is Twin Reef, where you’ll grab your snorkel and see what’s swimming beneath the surface.
Next up is a popular swimming spot, where you might be lucky enough to share the water with sea turtles, before heading to Inaladelan Island. While you enjoy some time on the beach, the team will be cooking up a delicious lunch of local dishes. Swimming and a freshly prepared island lunch? Yes please!
Your final stop is a starfish sandbar, where you can spot starfish in the shallow waters as the sun begins to set!

Port Barton
Sleeping Under the Stars!
Fancy a little change of scenery? You’ve got the morning to yourself in Port Barton, so enjoy a lie-in, head to the beach or grab a coffee before we swap our accommodation for something a little different!
This afternoon, you’re heading to a remote corner of Palawan for a night of camping with the group. Make yourselves at home in your tents which will be ready and waiting for you, and get ready for an evening around the campfire. Dinner under the stars, stories with your new travel family and a whole night surrounded by nature.
And when it’s finally time for bed, you’ll be falling asleep to the sounds of nature. No hotel room tonight, just you, your tent and a pretty incredible place to wake up tomorrow morning!

Weather
The Philippines is warm and tropical throughout the year, so you can expect plenty of sunshine and beach-worthy temperatures whenever you visit! January to April is generally the best time to travel, with drier weather, blue skies and lower humidity making it perfect for island hopping, swimming and days spent outdoors. January and February are the cooler months of the dry season, ideal if you prefer warm days without the strongest heat. By March and April, temperatures begin to climb, bringing hotter, sunnier days and plenty of opportunities to cool off in the sea! From July to October, the Philippines enters its main rainy season. Expect more frequent tropical downpours, higher humidity and a greater chance of typhoons, although conditions can vary depending on where you are. Rain often comes in heavier bursts, so you can still get those gorgeous sunny spells in between!

Manila (MNL) Your Philippines adventure begins in Manila! Fly into Ninoy Aquino International Airport, where your airport pickup will be waiting to take you to your first accommodation. Aim to arrive between 9am and 5pm, so you’ve got plenty of time to settle in, freshen up and join your travel family for the welcome dinner that evening.

Arrival & Transfers
We provide an airport transfer on the day your trip begins. To make things easy, aim to arrive between 9am and 5pm on the start date. Once you’ve booked your flights, be sure to share your arrival details on your portal so we can coordinate your pick-up.
If you’re arriving outside these times, don’t worry, we can help you arrange a private transfer at your own cost. Our team will give you all the details you need to meet your driver and get to your accommodation safely and smoothly.
All in-country transport throughout your trip is included, so you can relax and enjoy the journey. We handle transfers between hotels, activity locations, and any pre-arranged excursions, using buses, trains, and boats where needed.
Each tour page lists the correct airport to fly into and out of, so you’ll know exactly where to arrive and depart. If you're still unsure, just chat to the team!
Luggage & Packing
Pack light, pack smart, and be ready for anything. Bring versatile clothing for warm days, cooler evenings, and temple visits. A sturdy backpack or suitcase works fine, and you’ll have opportunities to do laundry along the way. Don’t forget essentials like chargers, travel documents, and a good pair of walking shoes for exploring

Flights are not included in the trip price and will need to be booked separately. We recommend securing your place on the trip before booking flights, as availability and dates can sometimes change and flight prices can fluctuate.
Once your place is confirmed, our team is happy to help with advice on the best airports to fly into, typical routes, and timings to ensure your arrival runs smoothly.
Group Leaders
Who are the group leaders?
Your group leader is your go-to guide, mentor, and ultimate problem-solver while on tour. They know everything from hidden local spots to the best places to eat, and are there to make sure your trip runs smoothly. Think of them as your travel BFF who’s got your back 24/7.
How big are the groups?
Groups are kept small and social, usually between 12 and 22 travellers, so it’s easy to bond and make friends for life. You’ll meet people from all over the world, all sharing the same love of adventure and discovery.
Can I get in touch with my group or leader before the trip?
Yes! Around two weeks before your tour, your group leader will be added to your group WhatsApp. You’ll also be able to connect with your fellow travellers in our private destination-specific community so you can start sharing tips, hype, and travel excitement before you even arrive.
Money
In the Philippines, the local currency is the Philippine Peso, and while cards are accepted in some places, cash is widely used, especially on smaller islands and in local areas.
For convenience and to avoid high foreign exchange fees, many travellers use a travel card such as Wise or Revolut. This allows you to pay in local currency with minimal charges, and you can also withdraw cash from ATMs if needed.
Best Time to Travel
The Philippines enjoys a warm tropical climate all year round, making it a great destination whenever you visit. The dry season runs from November to May, bringing plenty of sunshine and ideal conditions for island hopping and beach days, while the wet season from June to October sees occasional tropical showers.
Rain usually comes in short bursts rather than lasting all day, so there’s still plenty of time to explore.
No matter when you travel, our trips are designed to make the most of the weather, so you can enjoy a mix of adventure, beach time, and exploring.
Food
The Philippines offers a great mix of local dishes, fresh seafood, and international options, so there’s plenty to try during your trip.

You’ll find everything from street food and local eateries to beachfront restaurants, with lots of opportunities to explore different flavours.
Many meals are included on your itinerary, but you’ll also have free time to try local spots with your group.

Nightlife
The Philippines has a fun, social nightlife scene, especially in beach destinations and island towns.
From beachfront bars and sunset drinks to live music and late-night hangouts, there’s something for every vibe. Some nights are all about going out, others are more chilled, it’s completely up to you.
Not a big drinker? No problem. There’s absolutely no pressure to drink on our trips, and plenty of people choose to stay sober or take nights off. It’s all about enjoying the atmosphere and the people you’re with.
Do I need a visa?
UK passport holders can visit the Philippines for up to 30 days without a visa.
If you’re planning to stay longer, extensions can be arranged locally. For the most up-to-date information, we always recommend checking official government guidance before you travel.
Wildlife
The Philippines is home to incredible marine life and diverse ecosystems, especially across its islands and coastal regions. What you see will depend on where you travel, but expect opportunities to spot tropical fish, sea turtles, coral reefs, and a variety of marine species while snorkelling and island hopping.
You may also come across native wildlife such as monkeys, birds, and other local species in more rural or jungle areas.
