Thailand Starts Here…
The sunscreen is unpacked, the out-of-office is on and your Thailand trip is finally here!
Touch down at Bangkok Airport (BKK) by 5pm and we'll be there to welcome you with an included airport pickup, ready to get you settled in and introduced to your new travel family. Soon enough, you'll be exchanging airport queues for rooftop views, street food and your first Bangkok sunset.
This evening, we'll get together for a welcome dinner before heading out to experience the famous atmosphere of Khaosan Road. Just imagine tuk-tuks, market stalls, live music and backpackers from every corner of the world. You're trying your first Pad Thai, ordering a Chang or bargaining for souvenirs, there's no better place to kick things off.
By the end of the night, you'll have had your first taste of Bangkok with the people you'll be making lifelong memories with over the next 15 days.

2
Bangkok
Beyond Khaosan Road
If you thought Bangkok was all night markets and food stalls think again. Before we trade city streets for island life, there's a little more of the city we'd like you to see.
We'll start at Wat Pho, home to the famous Reclining Buddha and the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. Safe to say, the Thais have relaxation pretty well figured out.
Next, we'll hop on a boat and cruise across the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun. Decorated with millions of tiny pieces of porcelain and rising high above the riverbank, it's one of Bangkok's most iconic landmarks.
Along the way, your guide will share stories about Thai culture, Buddhism and the traditions that shape everyday life in Thailand. Afterwards, the rest of the day is yours. If that means a poolside afternoon, checking out the home of Thai massage for yourself or squeezing in a little more exploring, the choice is all yours.

Bangkok
Blooming Bangkok
Just when you think you've got Bangkok figured out, it goes and surprises you again...
This morning, we'll wander through Bangkok's biggest flower market, where every corner seems brighter, busier and more colourful than the last. If your camera roll wasn't already filling up, it probably will be now.
Next, we'll cross the river to Kudeejeen, one of Bangkok's oldest communities, where Portuguese traditions, local culture and riverside life have blended together for generations. We'll pass by Santa Cruz Church, visit a local museum and, of course, stop to try the area's famous egg cake. We'd tell you to save some for later, but that's probably not happening.
There'll also be time to explore the canals, street art and hidden corners that most visitors never stumble across before another free evening in the city.

4
Bangkok
Leaving The City Life Behind
We've explored Bangkok, eaten our weight in great food and survived Khaosan Road. Now it's time to leave the city behind.
Before we hit the road, we'll make one last stop at Icon Siam. Part shopping mall, part food hall and part reminder that you definitely didn't leave enough room in your suitcase, it's the perfect place for a final wander. Treat yourself to a little something and spend an hour convincing yourself you're not going to buy anything before buying something anyway.
The afternoon is yours before we begin the journey south. This evening, we'll join fellow travellers on the classic backpacker route to the islands, hopping aboard our overnight bus before catching the ferry to Koh Phangan.

Koh Phangan
Island Life Begins
The backpacker route has officially paid off. Welcome to Koh Phangan!
After an overnight bus and a ferry, you've made it to one of Thailand's most famous islands. The rest of the day is yours to settle in, find your favourite beach and start embracing island life.
Grab a fresh coconut, cool off in the sea or wander through Pantip Market, where travellers and locals come together over great food, live music and island vibes. If you're feeling adventurous, explore the coastline, discover your new favourite beach bar or grab a front-row seat for sunset.

Tonight: The Full Moon Party!
It’s time for the main event…
You've heard about it, you've seen the photos and by now you've probably spotted enough neon paint around the island to know what's coming. The good news? The hype is real.
Spend the day preparing however you like. Relax on the beach, grab some food, top up the tan or squeeze in one last nap in the sun before the night's festivities begin. Future you may be grateful...
As the sun goes down, we'll head to the world-famous Full Moon Party. Get ready for beach bars, fire shows, world-class DJs and thousands of travellers dancing under the stars on the sands of Haad Rin Beach. It's loud, colourful, slightly chaotic and unlike anything else on Earth.
When you're ready to call it a night, your return transfer will be waiting to get you back safely. Until then? Enjoy every second.

Over the next two weeks, you'll stay in a handpicked mix of stylish hotels and beachfront resorts, from a buzzing base in Bangkok to island stays just steps from the ocean. Expect swimming pools, ocean views, beach bars and locations you'll be excited to come back to at the end of the day.
One night of the trip is spent travelling overnight from Bangkok to Koh Phangan aboard a sleeper bus. It's a backpacker rite of passage and all part of the adventure.
You could be watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand, cooling off by the pool or waking up just moments from the beach, these are the kind of places that make island hopping around Thailand even better.
Rooms are same-sex twin share as standard. If there's an odd number of travellers, a triple room may occasionally be used.

If you're chasing sunshine, you're in the right place! November to February is Thailand's peak season and generally the coolest and driest time to visit, with blue skies, sunny days and temperatures of around 25-30°C. It's perfect for island hopping, beach days and exploring without getting too hot. March to May is when things really heat up, with temperatures often reaching 30-35°C. Expect plenty of sunshine, warm evenings and lots of opportunities to cool off in the sea, a swimming pool or with a fresh coconut in hand. June to October brings the rainy season, but don't let that put you off. Showers are usually short and sharp rather than all-day downpours, and they often clear just as quickly as they arrive. You'll also find fewer crowds, lush green landscapes and some pretty spectacular sunsets. Pack light, bring your sunglasses and prepare to spend a lot of time wondering why you don't live somewhere this warm…
Getting There
Starts
Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) Touch down in Bangkok, grab your bags and get ready - your Thailand adventure is about to begin. We recommend arriving between 9am and 5pm on Day 1, where your local guide will be waiting in the arrivals hall with a sign ready to welcome you to Thailand. Arriving during this window means you'll be able to take advantage of the included airport pickup, settle into the hotel, meet the group and join the welcome orientation before the evening activities begin. Arriving outside of the pickup window? No problem. You'll just need to make your own way to the hotel, and your local guide will be happy to point you in the right direction in the group chat. If you're planning to arrive a day early, just let us know. You're welcome to book your own accommodation near the airport and return the following day to join the group pickup.

All good things must come to an end, and after 15 unforgettable days, it's time to say goodbye to your travel family and head home. Your trip finishes in Krabi, and we recommend departing from Krabi International Airport (KBV). If you would prefer to fly from Phuket Airport (HKT), you'll need to arrange your own transport there. When booking your flights, you can either purchase two one-way tickets (one into Bangkok and one out of Krabi), or fly back to Bangkok at the end of the trip and book a return flight from there. Domestic flights within Thailand are often very affordable, and this can sometimes work out cheaper overall. Just be sure to double-check which Bangkok airport you're flying from, as the city has two! On the final day, we recommend booking a flight departing after midday. Remember, you'll also need to allow enough time to get to the airport and check in 2–3 hours before your flight.

Arrival & Transfers
We provide an airport transfer on the day your trip begins. To make things easy, aim to arrive between 9am and 5pm on the start date. Once you’ve booked your flights, be sure to share your arrival details in the Manage My Booking area so we can coordinate your pick-up.
If you’re arriving outside these times, don’t worry, we can help you arrange a private transfer at your own cost. Our team will give you all the details you need to meet your driver and get to your accommodation safely and smoothly.
All in-country transport throughout your trip is included, so you can relax and enjoy the journey. We handle transfers between hotels, activity locations, and any pre-arranged excursions, using buses, trains, and boats where needed.
Each tour page lists the correct airport to fly into and out of, so you’ll know exactly where to arrive and depart. If you're still unsure, just chat to the team!
Luggage & Packing
Pack light, pack smart, and be ready for anything. Bring versatile clothing for warm days, cooler evenings, and temple visits. A sturdy backpack or suitcase works fine, and you’ll have opportunities to do laundry along the way. Don’t forget essentials like chargers, travel documents, and a good pair of walking shoes for exploring

Flights are not included in the trip price and will need to be booked separately. We recommend securing your place on the trip before booking flights, as availability and dates can sometimes change and flight prices can fluctuate.
Once your place is confirmed, our team is happy to help with advice on the best airports to fly into, typical routes, and timings to ensure your arrival runs smoothly.
Visa & Vaccinations
Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality and the country you are visiting. Some destinations allow certain nationals to enter visa-free for a limited period, while others may require a visa on arrival or in advance. It is your responsibility to check the latest visa and entry requirements before travelling. You can do this via the relevant embassy or consulate website, or reach out to our team for guidance.
We also recommend checking with your GP or a travel health clinic for advice on vaccinations and other health precautions for the country you are visiting. Make sure to arrange any required vaccinations well in advance to ensure a smooth start to your trip.
Money
The local currency in Thailand is the Thai Baht (THB). ATMs are widely available in cities, and cards are accepted in most places, though it’s useful to have some cash for markets and smaller towns.
Most of your activities, accommodation, and some meals are included in the trip price. You will mainly need money for extra meals, drinks, souvenirs, optional activities, and any onward travel. We recommend bringing a travel card or using a card with low foreign exchange fees for convenience and security.
